2026 NATS Korea Conference
"Confluence of Performing and Vocal Arts"
June 20, 2026
Kyung Hee University, South Korea
Dear Members of the South Korea NATS Chapter,
It is an honor to serve you and to support the continued growth of our chapter throughout 2026. I look forward to fostering meaningful connections among Korean American voice teachers, teachers of singing in the United States, and our colleagues in South Korea.
The National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS), founded in the United States, is an international organization whose mission is to “change lives through the power of singing.” I was first introduced to NATS during my high school years and participated in student auditions as a young singer. Now, as a teacher of singing, I have had the privilege of mentoring students and entering them in auditions for the past 20 years.
Our South Korea Chapter is committed to promoting networking, collaborative performances across diverse repertoire, scholarly research, and participation in International Region student auditions. Our leadership team is currently planning the 2026 Conference, which will take place on June 20 at Kyung Hee University under the theme “Confluence of Performing and Vocal Arts.” This event will be hosted by Dr. Eun Hye Lee, our Internal South Korea Chapter President.
In the United States, Dr. Jiyeon Hwang and I are also planning an event to celebrate Korean Independence Day. This event may be held either online or in person, and we will share additional details in the near future.
I look forward to a year of encouragement, collaboration, and growth with all of our members and students.
With warm regards,
Ho Eui Holly Bewlay, D. M. A.
External President, South Korea NATS Chapter
